On June 17, 2025, we had the pleasure of attending the European Community Networking Reception, one of the most significant events for fostering dialogue between the European business community and Hong Kong institutions. Held in the prestigious Grand Ballroom of the Conrad Hotel, the event brought together representatives from major European Chambers of Commerce, businesses, diplomatic authorities, and investors.
Organized by InvestHK in collaboration with SwedCham and other European chambers, the morning provided a valuable opportunity to forge new connections, exchange views on strategic issues, and strengthen Europe’s presence in a key global hub like Hong Kong. Among the highlights was the keynote speech by Mr. Algernon Yau, Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, who emphasized Hong Kong’s pivotal role as a commercial bridge between Europe and Asia.
